Carbonite Releases BlackBerry App, Updates iPhone App

Carbonite online backup users can now access their backed-up data anytime, anywhere, via their BlackBerry.

Carbonite Blackberry App Users of the popular BlackBerry smartphone can browse through their backup set, view common files (such as PDFs, images, Excel and Word docs) and share files quickly via email using Carbonite’s BlackBerry application.

In addition, Carbonite’s iPhone app has been updated, giving users the ability to sign up for a free trial from within the app and some new icons.

Carbonite offers unlimited online backups for $54.95 / year.

New JungleDisk iPhone App & iPad Contest

JungleDisk iPhone App JungleDisk, the popular online backup service which stores your files with Amazon S3 (read our JungleDisk review), has released an app for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Now, you can view your photos, download important documents, or listen to your mp3 collection while you’re on the go.

In addition to releasing their app today, JungleDisk is giving away an iPad! Simply answer via Twitter, What do you want to access anywhere? and include @jungledisk and #jungledisk in your tweet. There will be two drawings on April 6th and April 9th.
