The deals between Antivirus companies and online backup companies just keep coming in. Shortly after McAfee partnered with Mozy, CyberDefender (an award-winning provider of PC security) also announces they will also be partnering with Mozy. PC security companies who typically focus on antivirus and antispyware products are now adding online backup to their portfolio.

While CyberDefender previously protected users computers from viruses, spyware, malware, worms and trojans, it offered no protection from user-error, hardware failure or catestrophic disk loss from theft, fire, or flood. However, in partnering with Mozy, users now have an added layer of protection for their data.

There’s no word yet if CyberDefender users will receive any type of discount when adding Mozy online backups to their PC security precautions, but users can get a Mozy promotional code to save up to 20%.
