UK-based Vodafone has teamed up with Decho (the creators of Mozy) to offer PC backup for their customer’s desktops, notebooks and netbooks. Though known as being a mobile internet service, Vodafone’s PC Backup will not support mobile devices at this time. The backup of smart phones has been a topic of interest lately, with T-mobile losing data of their Sidekick users.
EMC and Decho have been partnering with service providers lately, to expand their product reach. The most recent relationships announced have been with McAfee and China Telecom.
