SugarSync in Japanese, IDrive in French

Two online backup providers announced new multi-lingual versions of their applications today: SugarSync Continues to Spread Globally: Now in Japanese and IDrive Online Backup now in French.

Keep in mind these announcements are simply language translations of the existing applications, and does not mean SugarSync is adding data centers in Japan, nor IDrive in France.

In the past few months, SugarSync has added Spanish, Chinese and German language options, while IDrive boasts Spanish, German and Japanese versions.

Definitely gives Sugarsync and iDrive more edge than their competitors!

Good info – there are a few recent changes as of June 2011:
You get 5GB of space with the FREE version, but now there is no restriction to the number of computers you can sync/backup (up from 2).
It gives you the ability to upload and sync any folder on your computer.
It is the only service that offers such a broad device and OS support with apps for BlackBerry, Android, iPhone/iPad, Symbian.

    Hope it helps someone.
