Rumors started flying a couple days ago that Mozy is Working on a Windows Home Server Software Client for their unlimited MozyHome service. At that time, we didn’t report on it as there was little proof to the claim, other than an email from an unnamed tech support employee:

Our Research team is working to develop a client for Windows Home Server for MozyHome customers. Once it is developed you can switch back to MozyHome and back up Windows Home Server.

However, when I reached out to Mozy to get an official statement, they replied:

Mozy supports Windows (Home) Server with its MozyPro offering, not MozyHome. We do not have any plans at this time to include server support in our MozyHome offering.

So, if you’re running WHS, don’t expect to be able to use MozyHome anytime soon.
