IDrive has announced a plugin for the popular blogging platform, WordPress, to backup your blog data to an offsite location.
The IDrive Plug-in for WordPress will backup your WordPress blog data (files and MySQL data) nightly. If you need to restore data, it’s immediately available in your IDrive online backup account.
Like IDrive’s online backup produce, the WordPress plugin will initially backup all data, and afterwards do incremental backups, only transferring files and data that has changed.
However, the IDrive plug-in only works with WordPress 2.8.5+ running on a Linux / Unix system with PHP 5.1 or higher.
