Gladinet has a solution to backup your Google Docs to virtually any location in the cloud, including Amazon S3, EMC Atmos, and Box.net, using their Cloud Desktop backup software. It’s easy to use: just enter your Google Docs account information, choose a backup location, and then specify how often you want the backups to be done.

Working with Google Docs makes a lot of sense: you can access your files from any Internet enabled device, and you don’t have to back anything up because the files are not on your local computer. But as we’ve seen before, cloud-based storage isn’t immune to disaster.
